SafetyWing (YC W18) is seeking an ambitious and creative Product Manager to help make our product something our customers love so much that they’ll tell their friends about it.
We are on a mission to remove the role of geographical borders as a barrier to equal opportunities and freedom for everyone. We are doing that by creating simple health, insurance, and retirement products for remote workers worldwide as a replacement for national welfare systems.

💻 What you can help with:
- End-to-end product management, taking the first seeds of an idea and carrying it through to implementation and optimization.
- Executing a product vision and strategy to enhance our Remote Health B2B product, targeting startups
- Talking to users and translating their desirers, suggestions and pain points into products and features
- Leading a cross-functional team of engineers and designers, and managing stakeholders such as legal and compliance
- Building operational systems and automations as your team scales and grows
- Inspiring people across the company to believe in the impact of you and your team’s work
- Making quarterly and yearly plans for execution with a variety of stakeholders involved
🧪 We are looking for someone who:
- Has great judgement, meaning an intuitive understanding of what makes a product amazing
- Can use their own intuition in combination with user feedback to delight new and existing users at every step of the product interaction
- Is a strong leader who can guide and motivate a team towards project completion and iterations
- Can make well rounded product priorities while weighing product considerations, business needs and available resources
- Has extensive professional leadership experience in a product adjacent role. Experience in one or more of the following areas are particularly welcome but not required: founding a company, product management, technical background
