M&A Integration Lead
Our operations team is looking for an Integration Lead to own how Rumli absorbs the companies we acquire. We buy property managers with years of history, and outdated systems and processes to match. Your job is to turn what they built into how Rumli runs, without the people who depend on it feeling any friction.
You’ll be the translator between the old and the new: between an acquired team’s reality and the platform we run on, between routines built in the 90s and the way they should work today. You’ll work shoulder to shoulder with our operations team, our software engineers and the colleagues joining us from each acquisition. Get it right, and owners and tenants barely notice the change. They just get the same service they trusted, with better and next-generation tools underneath.

We’re building the property manager we always wished existed: professional, transparent and driven by our own technology.
For nine years, the team behind Rumli built software for property management, used today by 700+ owners across more than 12,000 tenancies. Along the way we learned where the industry works and where it doesn’t. Better software alone didn’t fix it, so we took the next step: we now run the management ourselves, with our own platform and AI in the background.
The software handles the repetitive work, rent collection, reconciliations and follow-ups, so our people can spend their time on owners, tenants and the cases that need judgment. We grow by acquiring established property managers and moving their portfolios onto our platform. That’s where you come in. Every acquisition is a portfolio of real customers sitting on a stack of old systems, and you’re the one who makes the move feel like an upgrade, not a disruption.
You will
Own integration end to end. The migration, the timeline and the promise that customers barely notice the change are yours. You plan it, you run it, and you’re accountable for how it lands.
Translate old into new. Map how an acquired company actually works, its systems, processes and quirks, and rebuild it the Rumli way. You help decide what carries over, what gets retired and what gets automated.
Get portfolios off legacy systems. Move data and operations out of legacy systems and whatever else you inherit, cleanly, with no gaps and no lost history.
Protect the service through the change. Keep owners and tenants in safe hands during every transition: no interruptions, no gaps, no surprises.
Make the next one faster. Turn each integration into a playbook, so the tenth acquisition runs smoother than the first.
Improve the platform. Spot the friction that shows up in every integration and tell the product team what to build and automate next.
You may be a fit if you
Have done this before. You’ve led integrations, migrations, onboarding or operational change, ideally in property, finance or another system-heavy field, and you know how messy real handovers get.
Redesign, don’t just follow. You see a thirty-year-old process, and your instinct is to rebuild it better, not document it as-is.
Stay calm at a high bar. You hold the service standard steady when several portfolios, systems and people all need you at once.
Take ownership. “This is mine, I’ll figure it out” is how you work. You move, get the information and adjust, rather than wait for a perfect plan.
Are bilingual. Fluent Danish in writing and speech, and comfortable in English, our internal working language.
You don’t need a specific degree or a long CV. We care about how you work, how you treat people, and whether you can bring order to messy, decades-old operations. If you’ve untangled and rebuilt something real before, that counts for more than a title.
What success looks like
We won’t hand you a day-by-day onboarding plan. We’ll hand you the first integration, and the support to get it right.
Success isn’t "we made progress". It’s portfolios live on our platform, manual routines replaced by automation, and tenants who barely felt the handover. It’s the acquired team finding the new way of working easier than the old one. And it’s the next integration running faster than the last, because you wrote the playbook that made it repeatable.
You’ll own those outcomes. When an integration lands well, that’s you. When it drifts, you’re the one who catches it and pulls it back.
