Proper is looking for our first Content Lead to partner closely with our commercial, product, and customer success teams on one of the most important aspects of our strategy: develop and execute a data-driven content strategy that enhances brand positioning, drives lead generation and nurturing, and aligns with customer needs and Proper’s vision.

You will have the opportunity to span across the entire process, from shaping our long-term content strategy, our brand voice, lead generation – to deciding what our long-term content efforts should be.

It’s open for interpretation, and we need your help. To be quite frank; right now is probably the best time to join, as you get the chance to shape your job and focus on what you do best.

What we do:

We enable landlords to increase their portfolio capacity without scaling headcount. They no longer stress about payments—not even late payments. And the tenants? They’re happier and stay longer because they feel heard, they feel they are treated fairly and legally.

We unlock a new category of landlords who focus on the long-term and not the mundane, stressing day-to-day tasks. With Proper, landlords move the needle on their business in a way no amount of new hires could ever do. We make the renting process seamless, so everyone prospers.

You will:


  • Be our first Content Lead and work closely with both co-founders, commercial, product and customer success
  • You will take part in shaping the long-term content strategy and executing our short-term tactics
  • Figure out what content we should work on next
  • Sometimes work on very fluffy and broadly defined, loose concepts, and other times on narrowly defined deliverables
  • Understanding customer needs and pain points
  • Collaborate with local market experts and translators to ensure your articles are clear and helpful
  • SEO and organic traffic growth
  • Lead generation and nurturing
  • Educational and training content
  • Brand building and positioning


You may be a fit if you are:


  • Able to reduce complex problems and legislation to something anyone can understand
  • A strong communicator who can empathise with our customers and help them navigate complex decisions.
  • An excellent writer who delivers self-edited, clean copy on deadline
  • Able to utilise and edit photo, video and voice
  • Experienced in designing and shaping a content strategy for B2B SaaS
  • Skilled in explaining and writing
  • Excellent at prioritisation and handling multiple projects at once
  • An expert in either English, Danish or German (or more than one of those)
  • Equipped with an entrepreneurial mindset – be comfortable with assuming ownership
