Our Opportunity!
We are looking for a dynamic Account Executive to join our North American sales team.
This role combines inbound and outbound sales responsibilities, allowing you to engage leads generated through marketing efforts while proactively reaching out to potential customers.
You’ll play a pivotal role in expanding Digitail’s footprint in the veterinary industry and directly impact our mission of transforming pet care. We are a small, but mighty Sales team with opportunities for career growth and success as we grow!
Responsibilities
Inbound:
- Engage and qualify inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, website inquiries, and referrals.
- Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ needs, challenges, and buying signals.
- Present and demonstrate Digitail’s solutions, addressing specific client pain points and highlighting value.
Outbound:
- Proactively research and identify target accounts within the veterinary sector.
- Execute strategic outbound campaigns, including cold calling, email outreach, and leveraging social media channels to connect with prospects.
- Build relationships with decision-makers and influencers within veterinary clinics and animal hospitals.
Pipeline Management:
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using HubSpot, logging all interactions, and setting follow-up actions.
- Track and analyze sales metrics, identifying trends to optimize outreach and conversion strategies.
- Nurture relationships with leads at various stages of the sales funnel, guiding them toward conversion.
- Support clients throughout the sales journey, setting the stage for a seamless implementation process post-sale.
Who you are!
- 1+ years in an Account Executive, SDR, or related sales role within a SaaS, start-up, or scale-up environment
- Consultative sales experience: you know how to understand customer pain points through asking clarifying questions. Which in turn, build successful customer relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities to engage prospects effectively to build demand and urgency
- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot preferred) and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets with a focus on delivering value to customers.
- Skilled at prioritizing tasks, managing time effectively, and maintaining a strong pipeline.

Bonus points for:
*Fluency in French
* Veterinary industry experience is a plus but not required.
