Customer Onboarding Specialist
Creative Force
What’s the Vibe?
...See, we have this crazy idea that effective collaboration is THE skill of the future and critical to our success. As a remote company with staff across the globe, we’ve seen firsthand how important it is for our teams to work well together.
And that’s why we focus on hiring talented people who are also great to work with.
That means we don’t always hire the people with the most experience. Some of us have PhDs. Others have spent multiple decades working at the top of our field. But we’ve also hired former tennis coaches, film students, photographers, hotel front desk workers, freelance travel agents, and fashion designers.
While our backgrounds are diverse, we all share a few important traits:
- We love solving challenging problems.
- We’re passionate about the work we do.
- And we’re the kind of good humans who make you look forward to that morning coffee chat, who bring positive energy to every meeting, who go the extra mile to support one another, and who make work feel a little less like work.
But, hey, there are lots of job posts out there that are cool and vibey and explain how unique their company culture is (look, a ping pong table!). We know, we’ve seen them. Some might be truer than others. As for us, we think you’ll notice the good vibes the first time we chat.
But don’t just take our word for it. Take Brandon's word. He’s an Onboarding Specialist here at Creative Force - and potentially your future team member.
What’s the Role?
Still interested? Awesome. Here’s the deal:
Our Onboarding Specialists are…well, special. They spend their days zooming out to 10,000 feet to understand a studio’s entire creative operations holistically, then zooming all the way in to examine every detail of the production process under a microscope.
To do the job well, they rely on a combination of deep technical knowledge of our software, a solid understanding of creative operations, and the people skills needed to guide our customers through the change management process required to integrate Creative Force into their organizations.
At the end of the day, it’s all about doing whatever it takes to set our newest customers up for success.
Onboarding Specialist Self-Assessment
Listen, no one has EVERYTHING on a job post. That’s just crazy talk.
So instead of listing every skill related to the job (who doesn’t want to hire someone who is organized?!), we just want to give you a sense of what we’re looking for in an awesome Onboarding Specialist.
Firstly, we're looking for someone in the Pacific Time Zone (US West Coast).
Secondly, we’ve provided four characteristics we believe you’ll need to excel in this role.
You Love the Technical Details
Our Onboarding Specialists love to geek out on how software and other technology work. They love going deep into the details, experimenting with functionality, and most importantly, understanding how functionality translates to value for our customers. And we’re always looking for opportunities to leverage AI within the team. You don’t need to be an expert, but familiarity with basic AI tools and a hunger to identify ways to work smarter is definitely part of the mindset we’re looking for.
You’ve Got High Emotional IQ
Implementing Creative Force is more than just installing software: it's a transformative journey for our customers. Our Onboarding Specialists are the trusted guides on this journey, bringing both technical expertise and emotional intelligence to every interaction. They excel at reading the room, addressing unspoken concerns, and bringing together the right mix of data, systems, and, most importantly, people.
You’re Proactive, Especially with Customer Engagement
The members of our onboarding team pride themselves on knowing what our customers' expectations, concerns, challenges, and successes are going to be even before they do. From timely responses to anticipating what our customers need next to get the most out of Creative Force, our team is always two steps ahead.
Experience in SaaS Onboarding or Creative Operations
Some of our current team members came from creative operations roles, while others have backgrounds in customer onboarding at SaaS companies. You don’t need both (but if you have both, hey there 😉), but our ideal candidate has one or the other.
