The role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team.

As a Finance Business Partner, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between finance and the organisation's operational functions across Europe. You will work closely with various departments, providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic support to help drive business decisions and achieve organisational goals.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Financial Planning, Analysis, and Strategy:
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Partner with business units to grasp objectives, evaluate financial impacts, and offer strategic recommendation.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
  
  • Monitor KPIs, analysing trends and areas for improvement, and regularly delivering performance reports and insights to inform decisions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, highlighting key financial metrics and trends.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Collaboration, Relationship Building, and Cost Management:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with department heads and operational teams, acting as a trusted financial advisor and supporting cost management efforts.
• Project Evaluation, Training, and Development:
  • Evaluate project viability, providing financial insights and aligning goals with business objectives.
  • Offer financial training to non-finance teams and support operations managers with on-site training to ensure reporting standards compliance.

A 5-star candidate has:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of experience as a Finance Business Partner or in a similar role.
• Strong financial analysis, modelling, and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Expert in Netsuite (or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with Italian, Greek, and Spanish accounting regulation.
• Fluency in English and ideally one Southern European language, preferably Italian or Greek.
• Hospitality / real estate industry experience is a strong plus.
