The Role

As a Brand Manager, reporting into the Senior Brand Manager, you will act as brand guardian, working to distinguish us from traditional hospitality providers and driving customer preference for Bob W when choosing accommodation. Your role encompasses brand activation, content creation, strengthening brand-customer relationships, and essentially protecting and improving our brand identity.

Your expertise in content creation, influencer collaboration, and internal communication will be essential in driving our brand's growth and maintaining its integrity in a competitive market.

Additionally, in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Enhancing brand visibility and accessing new markets through collaborations and strategic partnerships, contributing to business growth and diversification.
  • Creating compelling, on-brand content, including the management of photoshoots and shoot operations, that resonates with the target audience, leading to higher engagement on digital platforms.
  • Ensuring all marketing initiatives are in line with Bob W’s core values of technology, design, and sustainability, fostering a strong and cohesive brand identity.
  • Enhancing alignment between customer experience and brand values, leading to a stronger brand-customer relationship.
  • Utilizing customer feedback, market data, and competitive analysis to inform adjustments in brand strategy and operations, leading to continuous improvement and growth.

A 5-star candidate has:

  • 4+ years of work experience within hospitality or travel industry in relevant brand roles, focusing on brand and content strategies, with solid understanding of marketing principles and practical application.
  • Proven experience in successful development and execution of unique brand strategies, leading to a distinct market position and increased brand recognition.
  • Successful formation and management of strategic partnerships, leading to expanded market reach and enhanced brand reputation.
  • Expertise in marketing and content development with the ability to create clear and compelling communication of the brand's values and narrative.
  • Ability to effectively use performance data and market research to refine brand strategies, resulting in improved business decisions and identification of new growth opportunities.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and perspectives, leading to more customer-focused brand strategies and improved customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including adaptability, creative thinking, and emotional intelligence.
  • Effective handling of challenges and quick decision-making, leading to smooth brand operations and crisis management when needed.

Nice to have:

  • Experience in full-service creative agencies is highly desirable.
  • Skills in graphic design (Adobe Creative suite, Canva), video editing, and basic web development.
