The role

We are looking for someone who brings positive energy and a can-do attitude to every task, whether working independently or as part of a team. As an Operations Supervisor, you will be the right hand to our Area Manager. You will be the key person for reactive operations tasks, ensuring swift and effective resolution of any issues that arise. Your keen eye for detail will be crucial as you conduct housekeeping quality audits to maintain our exceptionally high cleaning standards and manage our partnerships with suppliers. Additionally, your strong time management skills, confidence in decision-making, and experience in the hospitality industry will set you up for success in this role.

In this role, you will:
- Enhance Guest Experience: Ensure guest satisfaction by addressing complaints, handling requests professionally, and collaborating with other teams.
- Ensure Operational Efficiency: Conduct property inspections, manage housekeeping and maintenance schedules, and optimize workflows.
- Handle Administrative Tasks: Track operational metrics, manage supplies, and report incidents or maintenance issues to the Area Manager.
- Maintain Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations, conduct drills, and maintain compliance records.
- Solve Problems and Manage Crises: Act as the point of contact for operational challenges and swiftly resolve emergencies.
- Collaborate with Management: Work with the Area Manager on strategic goals, provide feedback, and assist with team recruitment and performance reviews.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify enhancements, stay updated on industry trends, and implement innovative solutions.
Our 5-star candidate has:
- At least 3 years of experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in apart-hotels or operational management roles.
- A customer-focused mindset driven by a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, capable of anticipating and addressing operational challenges proactively and effectively.
- Excellent communication and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Proven leadership experience, with the ability to motivate and manage teams to achieve high service standards.
- Keen attention to detail, ensuring all aspects of operations meet or exceed expectations.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
- A solid understanding of health and safety regulations, with experience in compliance and safety protocols being an advantage
- Preferably resides in Amsterdam or nearby areas and possesses a valid driving license.
