Junior Guest Communication Designer

About the job
Hotel guests around the world use our app and web-based product to check in, unlock their room, and manage their stay - and we're looking for a Junior Guest Communication Designer to help us make that experience even better.
If you enjoy designing, copywriting, have an eye for detail, and want to learn how great communication shapes the guest experience, this could be the role for you.
You’ll join our Client Team, working closely with communication designers and client managers to create and refine communication across channels like email, SMS, and in-app messages.
What you’ll be working on
- Designing and shaping guest communication across the full journey - from before arrival to after the stay
- Creating both the visual layout and the copy for emails, SMS, and in-app messages so they feel clear, intuitive, and on-brand
- Understanding guest behaviour and using insights to improve communication and conversion
- Preparing and presenting communication designs for client review
- Setting up communication and automations in our platform
What we’re looking for
You don’t need years of experience to apply. We’re open to candidates early in their career who are eager to learn and grow. What matters most is that you take ownership of your work, are curious, and care about doing things well.
- Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken, as you’ll be working with Danish but also international clients
- Strong written communication skills and a good sense of tone and clarity
- A good eye for design and layout
- High attention to detail - both visually and in writing
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma or similar (or willingness to learn)
- Ability to combine layout and copy so communication feels intuitive and easy to follow
- A structured way of working and the ability to manage your own tasks and deadlines
- Interest in communication, design, and how it shapes the guest experience
- Relevant studies within design, communication, marketing, or similar
Nice to have
- Experience with writing, content creation, or communication
- Curiosity about how communication impacts user behavior and conversion
What you’ll get
- Your work will go live and be seen by guests across hotels all over the world
- Responsibility early on. You won’t be stuck doing background tasks - you’ll contribute from the start
- A role where detail matters and quality is taken seriously. You’ll improve quickly if you care about your work
- An office in the centre of Aarhus - with actually good coffee 😉☕️
Practical details
- Employment type: Full-time
- Location: Aarhus - this is an in-office role
- Travel: Occasional travel within Denmark and other markets may be required
- Start date: As soon as possible
